L.F. Jennings is a family-owned business driven by a passion for excellence and supported by experienced, talented employees. Founded in 1952 by Lawrence Floyd (L.F.) Jennings as a masonry contracting company, our company’s reputation for quality grew with the company. With the help of his son, Larry T. Jennings, who joined in 1965, we matured into a trusted DC area general contracting firm specializing in public projects.
In the 1980s, we began constructing larger scale private projects for commercial developers further increasing our experience and expertise. By the 1990s, the company had firmly established its reputation for building top quality office and retail projects. In 1996, Larry’s daughter, Larlyn Jennings, joined the firm followed by Larry’s son, Jon Jennings, in 2000.
Today, Jon Jennings leads the firm as President with a team of executives who have worked with the company for over 30 years. Having expanded to over 350 employees, we continue to produce high quality work and expand into new markets while standing as one of the top general contractors in the mid-Atlantic.
