Concrete Division
Lawrence F. Jennings was a hardworking, energetic, and enterprising young bricklayer with a head for business. In 1952, he incorporated L.F. Jennings as a small, mostly residential, masonry contractor. He quickly graduated to small commercial jobs and eventually school construction. Today, over 60 years later, the Masonry Division of L.F. Jennings, Inc. is a full-service masonry subcontractor, completing projects in all sectors including retail, office, multi-family residential, healthcare, industrial, institutional, and government.
The Masonry Division of L.F. Jennings, Inc. is a recognized leader in the industry, consistently producing quality projects. In 2010, the Masonry Division of L.F. Jennings, Inc. received first place in the “It Makes a Village” design and craftsmanship competition. In 2007, we received the Associated Builders and Contractors’ Award of Excellence in Masonry for Woodland Park Crossing. Our Masonry Division has also received numerous Craftsmanship Awards from the Masonry Institute.
Our dedication to safety from the top down has resulted in our OSHA workers compensation experience modification rate remaining below .77 for the past 5 years. Every foreman is CPR certified and maintains a 30-hour OSHA safety certification.
For over thirty-five years, L.F. Jennings Concrete have grown serving the Washington Metropolitan area as a leader in commercial concrete construction. We are particularly well positioned for projects ranging from $100,000 to over $5,000,000 and has grown to become a $20,000,000-per-year concrete subcontractor. Our professional and dedicated workforce specializes in footings, slabs-on-grade, slabs-on-metal deck, foundation walls, hardscapes, and site retaining walls for all project types including retail, office buildings, sports and fitness centers, flex warehouse space, precast parking garage foundations, and mixed use centers. Our goal is to build on our solid foundation and partner with select general contractors by providing high quality concrete work at a very competitive price.
