L.F. Jennings is seeking a Project Manager with a minimum of six years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This new team member will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the project including cost, risk, business management, and people management. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline, evaluate risks, and create a culture of safety. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.
Management will be of commercial projects; tilt-up experience a plus! Research Triangle experience desired. The Project Manager will work closely with all project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and direct completion of project
- Develop plan of action including schedule, resources and work plan
- Assess risks and establish contingency plans
- Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders
- Develop team members for professional execution and growth
- Detailed and hands-on understanding of all project aspects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 6+ years of experience in construction, preferably in project management
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
- Understanding of project budget and forecasting
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with a team
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent leadership and management skills
