Leesburg, VA
Virginia Village Building A is a 5-story mixed use building wrapping a precast parking garage. The construction consists of four stories of Type 5 construction over a single story of Type 1A concrete podium. The residential building will be clad in fiber cement siding, brick veneer, metal wall panels, and vinyl windows. An NFPA 13 wet sprinkler system, with fire pump, will protect the residential building and a dry sprinkler system will protect the parking garage. The residential building will be conditioned with dedicated outside air and heat pump split systems, while ventilation and exhaust fans will condition the garage. Multiple amenity spaces will be available both inside the residential building and outside in courtyard spaces. Dwelling units will receive LVT flooring throughout with tile in the bathrooms, shaker style cabinets with solid surface countertops, and matte black or bronze plumbing fixture and hardware packages.
This is a market rate apartment building that will utilize Virginia Housing financing. There are no wage scale or minority participation requirements for this project.
